Ski season has started and the holidays are here. I LOVE Christmas for many reasons, a big one is my family. I love them and I get to spend a lot of time with them.
I also really love that ski season has really started. I was on my 2nd run of opening day at Alta and slipped on some ice (I was going too fast, I'll admit that much). Turns out my knee was pretty hurt. I've spent the last 2 days icing, resting and keeping it up and now it's feeling better. I'm pretty sure I have some torn meniscus, which is a bummer, but at least it's not another ACL. Seeing my ortho this week and if anything needs to be fixed, I'll do it asap...going to Costa Rica in one month! And of course I want to get back skiing!
