After Rome we traveled south on the coast to Sorrento (south of Naples). Talk about BEAUTIFUL! The entire coast from there down to Amalfi was just amazing. Huge cliffs with houses and hotels along them...I wonder just how long they will be able to just "hang" there, it's remarkable.
Of course we ate tons of good food. The fruit is also to die for!
We traveled to the island of Capri then Positano and Amalfi and saw the ruins in Pompeii on our way to Florence. All of these places were just amazing and full of history and the scenery was just awesome. Probably our favorite places we visited the entire trip.
